Life is Easy

When I write, I am at peace. I do not think of the direction in which I venture. I do not worry about the quality. I just write. Why not bring this focus to every task?

When the wind blows, it releases its full energy. When it stops, there is no gradual transition. I should behave as the wind, directing my full energy to the task at hand. When I am at work: I will not think of work, I will do work. I will not invest my mind in future or past activity. I will not worry about the results of my present activity for I know that by giving the present moment all that I have, the best possible outcome will manifest.

Our thoughts muddy the water and corrode life’s simplicity. Let go of external factors – of imagined pressures and desires. Be present in every moment and trust that this is the best solution to your problems.

By giving each moment your entire focus you are doing all that you need. How can anything but the best possibility arise out of that? When you are present you shape the change which you experience over time. By thinking in the future or the past you give up your true power, the power to influence the present.

What could be more exciting than the ever changing present? If you do not live right now, when will you?

Let go of your life script and write a new one each moment. Constantly adapt to your experience like water. Be fluid, be dynamic, be youthful.

Let go of the rigidity of time. Notice how your experience of time speeds up and slows down as you assign your focus to different things. Time is merely a measure of change – treat it as such.
